Preparing for Sync

Before syncing products to Odoo, complete these preparation steps.

1. Test Odoo Connection

Settings → Odoo Configuration → Test Connection

Verify:

• ✓ Connection successful
• ✓ Authentication working
• ✓ Odoo version detected

2. Sync Odoo References

Dashboard → Odoo → Sync References

This imports from Odoo:

• Product categories
• Units of measure
• Tax codes
• Stock routes
• E-commerce categories

How often: Once initially, then after major Odoo configuration changes.

3. Configure Sync Policies

Settings → Odoo Integration → Field Sync Policies

For each field, choose:

• Always: Always update Odoo
• Only if empty: Update only if Odoo field is blank
• Never: Don't sync this field

4. Review Pricelist

Pricelists → Select pricelist → Review

Check:

• Products look correct
• Prices are accurate
• Categories are assigned
• Required fields are populated

5. Approve Pricelist

Change status from Draft to Approved.

Only approved pricelists can be synced.

6. Start Sync

Dashboard → Odoo → Export to Odoo
Or: Pricelists → Select pricelist → Sync to Odoo
