Import from Odoo

Import existing products from your Odoo database into Pricelist Heaven.

Why Import from Odoo?

• Baseline: Start with existing product catalog
• Update Prices: Fetch current prices, then update from supplier files
• Comparison: Compare supplier prices against current Odoo prices

Import Process

1. Go to Dashboard → Odoo → Import from Odoo
2. Select import type:
   • All Products: Import all products
   • By Category: Import specific category
   • By Supplier: Import products from specific supplier (via supplierinfo)
3. Click "Start Import"
4. Wait for import to complete
5. Review imported products

What Gets Imported

Products:

• Product code (default_code)
• Name
• Description
• Prices (list_price, standard_price)
• Category
• UoM
• Barcode
• Stock quantity (qty_available)

Supplier Info (if importing by supplier):

• Supplier product code
• Lead time
• Minimum quantity
• Supplier price

After Import

Imported products are stored as a special pricelist:

• Name: "Import from Odoo - [Date]"
• Status: Draft
• Supplier: "Odoo Import" (special supplier)

You can:

• Review products
• Compare with supplier prices
• Export back to CSV
• Archive when no longer needed

Import Frequency

Imports do NOT count towards your monthly import limit.

You can import from Odoo as often as needed.

Performance

Import speed: 50-200 products/minute

For large databases (10,000+ products), the import may take several minutes.

Filters

When importing, you can filter by:

• Active only: Skip archived products
• Sale OK: Only products that can be sold
• Purchase OK: Only products that can be purchased
• Category: Specific product category
• Supplier: Products linked to specific supplier
